Kate Burton, CPM, LM
I’m a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and Licensed Midwife (LM) serving families in East Tennessee, offering compassionate, holistic, personalized care rooted in both traditional wisdom and evidence-based practice. Since beginning birth work in 2014, I’ve supported more than 150 families through pregnancy, loss, birth, and postpartum, drawing on training completed through the NARM PEP apprenticeship model and my experience as a mother of two.
My approach emphasizes education, empowerment, preventative wellness, and honoring the unique needs of every pregnancy, supported by tools ranging from herbs and supplements to IV therapy and oxygen when needed. Originally from San Diego and trained in Utah, I’ve fallen in love with the Knoxville community. My passions also include understanding how trauma affects the body and supporting healing through modalities like Foot, Face, and Back Zoning.
